The client provides an agile, affordable online platform to design, integrate, and automate business processes, manage work, and give customers self-service solutions. BlastAsia works with the client to build the platform and strengthen its features.
The client needed smarter solutions for its own customers:
Manual Data Entry: Data from receipts, reimbursement requests, and expense liquidation forms had to be typed in by hand.
Many Form Types: The platform serves workflows with many different forms.
Slow Submission: Submitting a request for reimbursement took longer than it should.
WHAT WE BUILT
Our solution
BlastAsia built a form reader using Azure Form Recognizer, an AI-powered service under Azure Cognitive Services that uses machine learning to get data from documents:
Automatic Form Filling: The reader takes images of receipts and scanned forms and fills in a digital version of the form.
Custom OCR Forms: Users can create custom optical character recognition (OCR) forms to fit existing processes.
Reusable Models: Users upload several filled-out forms, the reader builds a model from them, and the model can be reused across processes.
