Arup Maity
Founder, President and CEO
Arup Maity is the founding President and CEO of BlastAsia, Inc. He is an adjunct faculty at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) for Innovation Management & Agile Project Management since 2005 and is also the founder of SpringPH, a startup support subgroup under Philippines Software Industry Association (PSIA).
He is a Director at PSIA for over the last 10 years, helping shape the industry through capability development, policy & marketing. Arup has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering, and earned his master's degree in business management from AIM in 1997; certified in traditional PMP and Scrum Master for Agile.
Tess Villaluna
CFO/COO
To oversee the company’s administrative, financial, and risk management operations is Tess Villaluna’s key role in BlastAsia. With her 25 years of experience in corporate finance, banking and controlling, Tess has proven her ability to develop productive teams while managing global stakeholders to achieve business goals.
Prior to BlastAsia, she served as AVP for Financial Reporting, VP for Financial Reporting and VP for Product Control successively at Deutsche Knowledge Services from 2005 to 2016. She had her Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of the Philippines and her master's degree in business management from AIM.
Roy Saberon
Technology Management Group Head
Roy Saberon leads BlastAsia's Technology Management Group. He is responsible for designing continuous training programs for our developers and acts as an internal consultant for the different development teams to optimize technology implementation and recommend appropriate technology and software architectural design to be applied to the software product development outsourcing projects.
Conrad Cruz
Head of Operations
Conrad joined BlastAsia as a Senior Quality Analyst in 2010 but has been in project management since 2012. He has a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering from Adamson University.
Jun Sionson
QA Director and Head of MIS
Jun Sionson heads both the Quality Assurance and the MIS groups of BlastAsia. One of the key achievements under his leadership is the implementation of quality assurance processes and information security, earning BlastAsia the distinction of being an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified company. He is currently involved with risk management, governance and compliance and management reporting for the company. He is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the De La Salle University.
Jun Gener
Head of Human Resource
As the head of HR, Jun Gener facilitates the smooth and profitable operation of a BlastAsia’s human resources department. Prior this role, he served as the Head of the Project Management Office and has been involved in systems development projects from varied verticals such as banking, health care industry, education, and retail and distribution for more than 10 years. Jun played a role in a USAID funded software development project in 1999 to 2002, instrumental for bringing Micro-Access to Banking Services methodology to the Philippines. Before joining BlastAsia, he was the General Manager and a member of the board of ASECSoft, Inc.
Burns Puzon
Head of Sales & Marketing
Burns Puzon served as the marketing manager and UI/UX Designer of 8 startups since 2012​. His experience includes management consulting and SMB marketing at Microsoft APAC/Philippines​. He graduated with Distinction from the Asian Institute of Management (MBA Major in Marketing).
