The client provides an integrated e-commerce supply chain of order administration and picking, distribution, stock management, content management, project management, and software development services to large enterprises in the Netherlands.
BlastAsia has been engaged with the client since 2014 and has deployed up to 12 developers since the project started. The team has worked on over 11 systems.
Part of the engagement with the client is the development of a secured delivery system with customized processing of orders in the form of a mobile/tablet app for the courier service provider. The system allows for KYC/credit checks at the door or automated inspection of identity documents that ensure that customers are not rejected at the door as soon as a typo is made. Some of the use cases for the system are:
Delivery of subscriptions and telephones to the door (telecom industry)
Provision of loans, mortgages, and insurance (the financial services industry)
Delivery of travel documents (government services).
