THE CHALLENGE
Client overview and challenge
The client is one of the airlines in the Philippines that pioneered the budget airline market and has flown over 150 million passengers since it started.
A pilot preflight briefing gathers the meteorological and aeronautical information needed for a safe, efficient flight. The challenge:
Printed Folders: Briefing information was printed and put in a folder before being handed to the pilot.
Lots of Information: Pilots need airport, weather, route, and alternate-plan information, and must know the limits of the aircraft and their own skills.
Need for a Digital Version: The client wanted a tablet-based app to replace the paper folder.
