THE CHALLENGE
Client overview and challenge
A Philippines-based non-bank lender with more than 20 subsidiaries and a 500+ store network tracked referrals and commissions in a fragmented way. The original ask was a single-subsidiary pilot.
The key challenges included:
Inconsistent Payouts: Commission payouts differed across the network.
No Head-Office Visibility: Head office could not see which channels drove performing loans.
Manual Reconciliation: Reconciliation required heavy manual effort.
Fraud Risk: There was no auditable trail.
Hard to Scale: The process had to be rebuilt each time a new store was added.
WHAT WE BUILT
Our solution
Through a two-week design phase with head office and subsidiary leads, the pilot became a network-wide rollout before development began. BlastAsia then used Xamun, an AI-native software development platform, to build a referral-and-commission engine for the full network:
Network-Wide Engine: Multi-branch and multi-company business rules, with a loan referral and approval workflow.
Standardized Payouts: One payout approach across all subsidiaries.
Head-Office Visibility: A consolidated view of channel performance across the whole network.
Security and Integration: Enterprise-level security and direct integration with the existing customer and KYC systems.
Built with: Xamun
RESULTS
The result
The lender now has standardized payouts and a clear view of which referral channels perform.
Development time: 2 weeks with Xamun, against about 26 to 30 weeks without*. About 93% faster.
Estimated build cost: About $48K with Xamun, against about $90K without*. About 47% more affordable.
Projected impact: About $300K in additional loan volume from a 2% uplift in referral conversion.
* based on a comparable referral-and-commission platform built using traditional software development methods.
