Oz Group Co-op is a 100% Australian farmer-owned cooperative on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. It processes and distributes high-quality berries and berry products across Australia, and wanted to streamline its operations and improve productivity.
Oz Group had built its reputation on sustainable farming, but struggled to manage its business operations. Key issues included:
No Complete ERP: No single ERP system met all of the cooperative’s needs, so existing systems needed heavy modification.
Scalability: Adding components such as a receivable system was difficult and costly, with extra hardware and software.
Complexity: Heavily modified ERP systems became cumbersome and did not fit the overall systems architecture.
